The government inventive is a combined Grant which significantly reduces the final price of the purchase in terms of a €400 flat and VAT (up to €250) cash rebate. - If the bike is new (purchased in the year of conversion), a copy of the fiscal receipt with serial number of the bike + our Invoice & Specs sheet + Declaration of Conformity that we provide you, alongside the application form (VEH051) is needed to apply for the €400 rebate. - In the case of a used bicycle (purchased before the year of conversion), the bicycle must be first Inspected and declared road worthy by an authorised engineer with attestation prior to application. This document combined with the above will be eligible for the TM rebate.

Our kits are designed to be DIY (Do It Yourself), so yes - they are very easy to fit. All you have to do is replace your front wheel with the one we provided you, install any disc rotors if any before doing so, then attach the battery and you're done. When it comes to expected range, this varies a lot. Key points to take into consideration:

1. Battery capacity size (each battery has a set capacity, the more the capacity, the longer the range)
2. Rider + Bike weight
3. Level of assistance preset from the APP/Display
4. Terrain whether it is flat road or steep hills
5. Any head wind causing air resistance and hence the motor would need to use more power to compensate.
6. Tire thickness (a thicker tire has more rolling resistance than a thin tire). * Whilst it is very difficult to determine the exact range due to the above mentioned variables - One can still calculate an average. The Bottle goes up to 30Km with ideal conditions / 50% assist and rider weight of less than 65Kg.

No – this will not compromise the bicycle’s structure integrity. This kit does not require any drilling in the frame, and only 1 Cable to feed power to the motor can be neatly placed next to the bicycle gearing/ brake cables.

Following an extra precaution of a roadworthiness test for older bicycles by a warranted bicycle engineer, the attachment is safe to use and follows all EU standards under the EN:15194-2017.

We as Plushbike do not recommend any frame punctures to pass any cables through unless the frame was specifically made for that purpose by the manufacturer.

The motor's speed is set to 25KM/h but this can be loweres through our mobile APP: Teebike (which can be downloaded from both Apple Appstore and Android Google Play Store.

Under the settings Tab, one can set a slower speed limit with an upper threshold of 25KM/h as per EU laws.
